is a sophomore Journalism major and English minor at Azusa Pacific University. On campus and off, she regularly writes for the opinion section of the university’s newspaper. Two of her greatest loves are traveling and writing, and she plans to combine these passions by pursuing a career as an international journalist serving Christ. Learning other people’s stories brings Marissa the most joy, and she hopes to continue using her own and others’ experiences to prompt conversations about gender equality.
