The Junia Project exists to teach biblical equality, equip women, and resource the Church.

We advocate for the full inclusion of women in church leadership and for mutuality in marriage. We want to see women lean into their calling as equal partners in ministry and to advance an accurate understanding of what it means to be egalitarian.

We believe that when interpreted correctly, the Bible teaches that both men and women are called to serve at all levels of the Church, and that leadership should be based primarily on gifting and not on gender.

Our contributors come from a wide variety of backgrounds, and the administrative team is a mixture of Wesleyan and Reformed theological perspectives. Our Founders are active in the Free Methodist Church, U.S.A & the Evangelical Covenant Order of Presbyterians.
