is a pastor’s kid and has worked in a pastoral role but currently finds herself teaching ESL in Abbotsford, B.C. A lover of coffee, trees, blackberries, river swimming, and thrift shopping, she spends far too much time perusing articles online. Her favourite thing is spending time with her husband, Nathan Bender, and her family on Vancouver Island. She has a degree in International Development Studies and English Literature from St. Mary’s University, and enjoys studying the intersection between gender, theology and mental health.
