Julia and her husband Jesse live in Durham, North Carolina, where Julia attends Duke Divinity School. Julia was on staff at Montecito Covenant Church for two years and then began her ordination within the Free Methodist Church of Southern California. She aspires to teach and preach. For fun, Julia relishes writing provocative theological posts on current issues and spending time at the water (lake, river and beach) with her new daughter of 3 months and her 2-year-old terrier mix.
