A native of Minneapolis, MN, Jeanelle has been writing in the art of Spoken Word poetry for six years. Though writing poetry can be experienced as therapeutic, for Jeanelle, the practice of Spoken Word poetry serves as a larger platform to integrate theology and the arts in her communities. A graduate of Fuller Theological Seminary with an MA in Intercultural Studies and a Master of Divinity, she currently resides in Pasadena, California and fellowships at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church.
